A Peek at Next Week:

Language Arts:  This week we will learn the letter “k”.  We will learn a new sight word:  here.  We will also write a class book.

Writing Workshop:  We will continue our unit on letter writing.  The kids are having a fun time with it. 

Handwriting:  We will continue with our lowercase letters.  This week we will learn z.  It is our last letter.

Math:  We will look at standard and nonstandard feet, use different tools for measuring, make a pet bar graph and play an attribute spinner game.

*February is I love to Read Month.  The kids met their goal the second week.  They were so excited.  Keep reading at home and filling in your fish.
