Happy Birthday,
Dr. Seuss!
We had a great time this week celebrating Dr. Seuss! We ate green eggs and most of the kindergarteners realized that they do like green eggs! We learned about Theodor Geisal (Dr. Seuss) and read many of his books. We had fun making Cat in the Hat hats and Sam-I-Ams.
It is still very wet and starting to get muddy on our playground, so please make sure your child continues to bring their boots and a pair of shoes to school so we keep as much mud out of our classroom as possible.
Next week we will continue practicing counting coins, and could use loose change if you have a few coins to donate to our room. The kindergarteners think it is more fun to count real coins than fake ones! Thanks in advance!
Have a great weekend!
