HOMEWORK

In second grade, it is expected that your child reads

every night for at least 15 minutes.

They should also be practicing their math facts that we are practicing this month.

For the month of November, students should know:

* doubles facts

* adding 0 and 1 to a number

* doubles + 1

* doubles + 2

* adding 10 to a number

* subtracting all, 0 or 1

* +9

* Count ups

November 13 and 17 - Parent/Teacher conferences

November 26-28 - No School - Thanksgiving Break

December 3 - Holiday Concert Matinee at 1:30

December 4 - Holiday Concert at 7:00

December 22-January 4 - Holiday Break

January 16 - End of Quarter 2

January 19 - No school - MLK Jr. Day and Teacher Workshop
